Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fusion 360 CAD Designer for a functional, airtight enclosure and feed system project. The design features an internal spool/roller mechanism, a sealed pass-through output port, and integrated environmental control compartments.
The project will involve iterative design and testing. The final model must be fully optimized for 3D printing (DFAM - Design for Additive Manufacturing) with clean, parametric source files.
Key Design & Functional Requirements.

Internal Spool & Roller System:
Low-friction internal roller mechanism designed to hold standard cylindrical spools smoothly.
Designed around standard 608zz bearings or printable pin assemblies.

Airtight Seal & Latching Mechanism:
Precision-fit lid/cover utilizing press-fit, latching, or threaded closure.
Dedicated channel/slot for silicone/TPU O-rings or gasket seals to ensure air seal integrity.

Tube Feed & Pass-Through Output:
Integrated threaded port for standard pneumatic push fittings (PC4-M6 / PC4-M10) for external tubing/guide feed.
Internal Desiccant / Sensor Bays:




Dedicated internal chamber/compartment for moisture-absorbing material.
External pocket/mount designed for a mini digital sensor module.

Design for Additive Manufacturing (DFAM):
Geometries structured specifically for FDM 3D printing (optimized overhang angles, minimal support requirements, and appropriate clearance tolerances for moving parts and snap fits).
Deliverables Required
Native Fusion 360 File (.f3d) with a clean, fully parametric timeline.
Universal STEP File (.step).
3MF / STL Files pre-oriented for printing.
Exploded View / Assembly Diagram showing hardware integration.

Candidate Requirements
Robust proficiency in Autodesk Fusion 360 (parametric modeling & mechanical assembly).
Hands-on knowledge of DFAM / 3D printing tolerances (thread clearances, snap fits, wall thickness).
Prior experience designing functional plastic enclosures or seal channels.
