Job Title: Associate - Balance Sheet Steering and Optimisation
• Credit and Capital Management (CCM) is establishing a Banking FRM capability. The Manager, Balance Sheet Steering and Optimisation, Banking is responsible for contributing to an active steering capability to optimize Banking and Global CIB Return on Tangible Equity (RoTE) and Economic Profit (EP).

In this role, you will:
• The Manager, Balance Sheet Steering and Optimisation, Banking will primarily be responsible for:
• Monitoring and providing insights to ensure a granular and active steering capability to optimize Banking and Global CIB RoTE.
• Collaboration to deliver precision pricing framework and metrics to effectively signal correct economics to bankers, supporting accurate decisioning and growth.
• Supporting operation of an effective Global Booking Model for Banking, including effective internal distribution model.
• Operating marginal pricing pilots and capability, including pricing signals to Strategic Client Origination.
• Distribution requests to Portfolio Optimisation.




• Compliance with applicable regulation and Group policies and governance frameworks.

Customers/Stakeholders
Primary customers are:
• Business lines – CIB.
• Functional Teams – Treasury, Business Finance, Risk, COO.
• Group & Regional teams.
• The roleholder will interact regularly with front line bankers as necessary. Governance should be in accordance with Group standards policy and procedures.
