Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Interventional Cardiologist to diagnose and manage cardiovascular conditions and perform interventional cardiac procedures. The candidate should have strong expertise in catheter-based cardiac interventions and the management of acute cardiac emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases.
- Perform interventional cardiac procedures such as coronary angiography, angioplasty, and PCI as per expertise.
- Manage acute coronary syndrome, myocardial infarction, and other cardiac emergencies.
- Perform pre-procedure assessment and determine appropriate intervention plans.
- Provide post-procedure monitoring and manage complications.
- Interpret ECG, echocardiography, cardiac imaging, and other relevant investigations.
- Coordinate with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, anesthesiologists, emergency physicians, and other specialists.
- Participate in Cath Lab procedures and ensure adherence to safety and clinical protocols.




- Counsel patients and their attendants regarding procedures, risks, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, procedure notes, and clinical documentation.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines.
- Participate in emergency and on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

- MBBS + MD/DNB in General Medicine + DM/DNB in Cardiology from a recognized institution.
- Additional relevant training/experience in Interventional Cardiology preferred.
- Valid medical registration.
- Relevant experience in Interventional Cardiology and Cath Lab procedures.
- Robust clinical and procedural skills.
