Job Summary

Serve as a DWP Infrastructure Engineer with eight to twelve years of experience focusing on secure secure and scalable network foundations for hybrid work environments. Apply strong knowledge of network basics to design optimize and support infrastructure that enables reliable digital workplace services for global teams in an MNC setting while aligning with business and industry standards.

Responsibilities

- Design robust infrastructure solutions that apply core network fundamentals to deliver secure and resilient digital workplace services supporting hybrid work arrangements and day time operations.
- Oversee implementation and configuration of network components that underpin end user connectivity ensuring consistent performance for office based and remote team members.
- Monitor infrastructure health using enterprise tools to identify potential network issues early and take corrective actions that minimize disruption to daily business activity.
- Coordinate incident response for infrastructure related problems by analyzing network behavior and collaborating with support teams to restore services efficiently.
- Document infrastructure topologies standards and procedures in a clear and accessible manner so that support and engineering teams can operate and troubleshoot effectively.
- Optimize network paths and configuration parameters to improve latency reliability and throughput for collaboration platforms and productivity applications used across the organization.
- Provide guidance to project teams on infrastructure dependencies and constraints ensuring new workplace solutions are compatible with existing network foundations.
- Collaborate with security specialists to align network configurations with security policies supporting data protection and compliance requirements in regulated industries such as insurance.
- Conduct capacity planning reviews by assessing current utilization trends and forecasting future demands so that infrastructure investments remain cost effective and scalable.




- Coordinate with vendors and internal procurement teams to evaluate infrastructure products and support services that enhance network capability without increasing operational risk.
- Provide detailed root cause analysis after major incidents explaining network and infrastructure factors so that preventive measures can be implemented and shared across teams.
- Assist in developing standards for hybrid work connectivity including office and remote access scenarios ensuring a consistent and reliable experience for all users.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending incremental infrastructure enhancements that strengthen the company mission to deliver dependable services to customers and society.

Qualifications

- Apply extensive experience in network basics including routing switching subnetting and standard protocols to diagnose and resolve complex connectivity issues in large enterprise environments.
- Utilize strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure components such as firewalls load balancers and monitoring platforms to maintain a stable and observable workplace network ecosystem.
- Draw on familiarity with property and casualty insurance operations when available to align infrastructure performance priorities with critical business processes and regulatory expectations.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid model by coordinating activities with onsite and remote colleagues using collaboration tools and well structured communication practices.
- Leverage at least eight years of progressive infrastructure engineering experience to handle production scale environments while adapting designs to evolving organizational needs.
- Apply analytical thinking and problem solving skills to evaluate complex technical scenarios and recommend practical infrastructure solutions that support strategic objectives.
- Show commitment to documentation standards operational discipline and cross team cooperation so that infrastructure services remain reliable transparent and easy to support.

Certifications Required

Cisco Certified Network Professional or equivalent enterprise networking certification relevant to infrastructure engineering.
