Key Responsibilities

- Understand coverage and buyer criteria and accordingly map companies and transaction opportunities across identified sectors and themes.
- Identify and connect with founders, promoters, CXOs, and other key decision-makers.
- Conduct targeted outreach through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and industry networks.
- Understand companies strategic priorities and assess potential requirements for M&A;, fundraising, or strategic partnerships.
- Arrange introductory calls and pitch meetings for the senior team.
- Prepare brief company profiles and relevant talking points ahead of meetings.
- Maintain the outreach pipeline and regularly follow up with prospective clients.
- Coordinate with the execution team following the conversion of an opportunity into a mandate.
- The role is focused on coverage, relationship-building,



and mandate origination; transaction execution will be managed by a separate team.

Preferred Profile

- Undergraduate, preferably with 6 months to 1 year of experience, with a BCom, BA, or BSc and a finance/economics background through education and work experience.
- Robust written communication and business development skills.
- Comfortable engaging with founders and senior corporate executives.
- Basic understanding of corporate finance, investment banking, M&A;, and private capital markets.
- Ability to independently conduct secondary research on companies, sectors, and decision-makers.
- Highly proactive, persistent, and organised, with a strong focus on meetings and mandate conversion.
