Title: Endpoint Operations Engineer - EUC (OPSEUC)
Location: Global / Hybrid
Type: Full-time / Contractor (Individual Contributor)
About the Role
Youll be the hands-on heartbeat of our end user computing environment - keeping laptops, desktops, and their tooling reliable, secure, and fast for everyone from new hires to the C-suite. Your scope covers device lifecycle (IMACD), OS patching, contemporary endpoint management, remote support, and white-glove VIP support. Youll keep every endpoint dependable and compliant from setup to retirement, working closely with EUC architecture, identity, security, and service management teams - executing to a high standard while telling us how to improve the tooling and experience.
What Youll Do
Own the device lifecycle (IMACD)
- Handle install, move, add, change, and decommission for Windows and macOS devices.
- Build and reimage endpoints using standard processes and platforms.
- Make refreshes, hardware swaps, and user moves seamless.
- Keep asset records and lifecycle status accurate.
Run endpoint management platforms (Intune, MECM, Jamf)
- Operate Microsoft Intune, MECM, and Jamf Pro day to day.
- Drive enrollment, config profiles, app deployments, and compliance policies.
- Apply config changes aligned with our standards and security rules.
- Untangle deployment failures, policy conflicts, and device management issues.
Keep everything patched and compliant
- Run OS patching for Windows and macOS.
- Track patch compliance, remediation, and deployment health.
- Chase down patch failures and bring non-compliant devices back in line.
- Keep patching aligned with security baselines and the change process.
Deliver VIP support
- Provide white-glove support to executives and business-critical users.
- Diagnose and fix hardware, OS, app, and peripheral issues.
- Partner with the service desk and escalation teams on tough cases.
Handle incidents, problems, and requests
- Resolve EUC incidents and requests within SLA.
- Join major incident bridges when endpoints are involved.
- Spot recurring issues and feed them into problem management and RCA.
- Capture fixes and grow the knowledge base.
Document and share
- Maintain runbooks, support procedures, and operational docs.
- Record known issues, troubleshooting steps, and workarounds.
- Keep docs current as tools and processes change.
Make it better
- Flag friction and gaps to architects and engineers.
- Find chances to automate, standardize, and enable self-service.
- Pilot new endpoint tools and configs from an operations view.
What You Bring
Endpoint operations & support (must-have)
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent real-world experience.
- Hands-on experience supporting enterprise Windows and macOS endpoints.
- Strong grasp of endpoint lifecycle, IMACD, and deskside support.
Endpoint tooling (must-have)
- Experience with one or more of Microsoft Intune, MECM, or Jamf Pro.
- Know-how around enrollment, config profiles, app deployment, and compliance policies.
- Ability to troubleshoot endpoint management and policy issues.
OS, hardware & troubleshooting (must-have)
- Strong Windows and macOS knowledge.
- Experience fixing hardware, drivers, peripherals, and performance issues.
- Familiarity with OS patching cycles and compliance reporting.
Service operations & collaboration (must-have)
- Experience with ITSM processes - incident, request, problem, change.
- Genuine customer-service mindset for everyday users and executives.
- Skill to explain technical issues in plain language.
Nice to have
- Certifications: Microsoft Endpoint, Windows, macOS, Jamf, or ITIL.
- Experience supporting global or distributed users.
- Exposure to identity, security, or Zero Trust as they touch endpoint compliance.
