MAPPING PROCESS JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: Mapping / GIS Process – Non-Voice

Location: Hyderabad

Industry: IT / ITES / BPM

Process Type: Non-Voice – Mapping / GIS Operations

For Freshers

- Any Graduate / Post Graduate

- Basic understanding of maps, locations, routes and navigation

- Valuable analytical and logical reasoning skills

- Good written English and comprehension

- Basic computer knowledge and internet research skills

- Ability to identify locations, landmarks, roads and geographical information

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts

- Mapping/GIS certification or knowledge is an added advantage

For Experienced Candidates – SPE / SME

- Prior experience in Mapping / GIS / Navigation / Geospatial processes

- Experience working with map data, POIs, road networks, routes and geographical information





- Validate and update mapping/location data with high accuracy

- Perform data analysis, quality checks and error identification

- Research and verify locations using available mapping resources

- Handle complex mapping cases and escalations

- Maintain productivity and quality standards

- For SME roles: support team members, clarify process queries and assist with quality/process improvements

- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills: GIS | Google Maps/Mapping | Navigation | Geospatial Data | POI Validation | Map Data Analysis | Quality Analysis | Internet Research | MS Excel

Note: For SPE/SME positions, relevant Mapping/GIS process experience is required.
