Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SAP FICO Consultant with 1-2 years of relevant hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO).
The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of SAP FI/CO configuration and support, along with exposure to SAP GROW with SAP and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. The candidate will work closely with senior consultants, business users, and technical teams to support SAP finance processes, resolve issues, participate in project activities, and contribute to effective SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP FI Activities

- Support configuration and maintenance of SAP FI processes.
- Work on core FI areas including:

- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting and Reconciliation

- Support financial postings, document processing, account determination, and related configuration activities.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Analyze and support resolution of FI-related issues.
- Assist in maintaining financial controls and process documentation.

2. SAP CO Activities

- Support configuration and business processes within SAP CO.
- Work with key CO areas including:

- Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
- Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
- Internal Orders
- Cost Element Accounting

- Assist with cost allocation, budgeting, reporting, and controlling activities.
- Support analysis and resolution of CO-related issues.
- Work under the guidance of senior consultants on functional improvements and process optimization.

3. SAP GROW & S/4HANA Public Cloud

- Gain practical exposure to GROW with SAP implementation, configuration, testing, or support activities.
- Support SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud finance processes and configurations.
- Understand and follow SAP best practices and standard business processes.
- Assist senior consultants in implementing and supporting finance solutions in the Public Cloud environment.
- Participate in configuration, testing, issue analysis,



and documentation activities related to GROW with SAP.

4. Implementation & Support

- Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, enhancement, or support projects.
- Assist in gathering business requirements and understanding functional requirements.
- Support configuration and solution implementation under the guidance of senior consultants.
- Analyze and resolve SAP FICO incidents and service requests within defined timelines.
- Provide support during post-go-live activities.
- Assist with data validation, master data activities, and system documentation.

5. Integration & Technical Coordination

- Understand integration between SAP FICO, MM, and SD modules.
- Coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for required developments and enhancements.
- Assist in preparing functional specifications and providing functional inputs to technical teams.
- Support developments related to reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
- Participate in integration-related issue analysis and resolution.

6. Testing & Documentation

- Prepare and execute test cases for configuration and business processes.
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and UAT activities.
- Support defect identification, analysis, and resolution.
- Maintain functional documentation, configuration documents, and process guides.
- Assist in preparing user manuals and training materials.

7. Stakeholder & User Support

- Work with finance users and business stakeholders to understand and resolve functional issues.
- Provide day-to-day SAP FICO support to business users.
- Assist with user training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Communicate effectively with senior consultants, technical teams, and business users.
- Escalate complex issues to senior team members when required.




- Contribute to continuous improvement of SAP finance processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1-2 years of relevant experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP FI and CO configuration and support.
- Good understanding of core FI processes including GL, AP, AR, AA, and Bank Accounting.
- Good understanding of CO processes including CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, and Cost Element Accounting.
- Practical exposure to GROW with SAP through implementation, configuration, testing, or support.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud finance processes and best practices.
- Basic understanding of integration between SAP FI/CO, MM, and SD.
- Exposure to SAP implementation, rollout, migration, enhancement, or support projects.
- Ability to understand business requirements and provide functional inputs.
- Basic knowledge of functional specifications and coordination with ABAP/technical teams.
- Exposure to unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned activities and collaborate effectively with the team.

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP FICO Certification is an added advantage.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Experience or additional exposure to GROW with SAP and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation projects.
- Experience interacting with business users or clients.
- Understanding of GST, taxation, and financial compliance processes.
- Basic understanding of SAP Activate methodology is an advantage.
