Role Summary

Develop scalable backend applications using Java 21, Spring Boot, Kafka, and PostgreSQL
while driving end-to-end delivery of Jira stories in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop microservices and REST APIs.
• Build event-driven solutions using Kafka.
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases and queries.
• Drive Jira stories, tasks, bugs, and technical debt items through the sprint lifecycle.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Track blockers, provide status updates, and coordinate with stakeholders.




• Support production deployments and issue resolution.

Required Skills:

- Java 21, Spring Boot, Microservices
• Apache Kafka (Producer, Consumer, DLQ, Retry Handling)
• PostgreSQL Performance Tuning and SQL Optimization
• REST APIs, JUnit, Mockito, Git, Linux
• Strong Jira experience including story management, sprint tracking, bug triaging, and backlog management

Preferred Skills:

Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Redis, Kafka Streams, CI/CD, Observability tools.

Desired Competencies:

Robust ownership, stakeholder communication, Agile delivery, problem-solving, and ability
to independently drive deliverables.
