We are seeking a Senior Equity Research Analyst with a strong focus on the Capital Goods and Defence sectors. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth sector expertise, strong analytical ability, and a proven record of generating actionable investment ideas for long-only portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct bottom-up research within Capital Goods and defence sectors
- Build and maintain financial models and valuation frameworks
- Track earnings, management commentary, and sector trends
- Generate investment ideas
- Prepare internal research notes and investment memos
- Participate in management meetings and investor interactions
- Collaborate with portfolio managers on stock selection and portfolio construction
- Monitor portfolio performance and update views regularly
Desired Candidate Profile
- 815 years of experience in Equity Research / Investment Analysis, preferably on the buyside (PMS, AIF, MF, Family Office).
- Deep understanding of the Capital Goods, Infrastructure, Defence, or Engineering sectors.
- Robust financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation skills.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication abilities.
- MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA preferred.
