Position: Internal Auditor (Payment Audit)
Location: HO Kolkata
Department: Commercial

Key Responsibilities

- Review and verify financial transactions as per defined SOPs, policies, and internal controls.
- Check payment transactions for accuracy, completeness, authorization, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, accounting standards, and organizational policies.
- Identify and investigate payment discrepancies, irregularities, errors, and suspicious transactions.
- Assess payment processes to identify potential fraud, financial risks, control gaps, or mismanagement.
- Review audit findings and follow up with concerned stakeholders for timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Track and verify implementation of audit observations and recommendations.
- Recommend improvements to enhance financial efficiency, payment controls,



process accuracy, and risk management.
- Maintain proper audit documentation, working papers, and reports for future reference.
- Coordinate with Finance, Accounts, and other relevant teams to resolve audit observations and ensure process compliance.

Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification

- B.Com / Bachelors degree in Commerce or a related discipline.
- Robust working knowledge of MS Excel / Advanced Excel is mandatory.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Payment Audit, Internal Audit, Finance Accounts, or Transaction Processing .
- Experience in FMCG, Distribution, Logistics or Manufacturing will be preferred.
