We are looking for a Buyside Equity Research Analyst covering the Pharmaceutical sector to join the investment team. The role involves deep fundamental research, financial modelling, and generating investment ideas for the portfolio management team.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct in-depth fundamental research on listed pharmaceutical companies.
* Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks.
* Track industry trends, regulatory developments, product pipelines, and competitive landscape.
* Generate actionable investment ideas and present them to the portfolio managers.
* Monitor portfolio companies and provide earnings updates and key developments.
* Interact with company management teams, industry experts, and sell-side analysts.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in equity research covering the Pharma sector.
* Prior experience in buy-side or sell-side equity research.
* Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
* Understanding of pharmaceutical business models, regulatory environment, and drug pipelines.
* Solid analytical thinking and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* MBA / CA / CFA preferred.
