Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Equity Research Analyst with a strong focus on the Midcap sector. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth market understanding, strong analytical ability, and a proven record of generating actionable investment ideas for long-only portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct bottom-up research within the Midcap universe across diverse sector
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks
- Track earnings, management commentary, and key sector and company-specific trends
- Generate differentiated investment ideas and recommendations
- Prepare internal research notes and investment memos
- Participate in management meetings and investor interactions
- Collaborate with portfolio managers on stock selection and portfolio construction
- Monitor portfolio performance and update views regularly
Desired Candidate Profile
- 8-15 years of experience in Equity Research / Investment Analysis, preferably on the buyside (PMS, AIF, MF, Family Office)
- Deep understanding of Midcap companies and familiarity with identifying scalable business models and early growth opportunities
- Solid financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation skills
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication abilities
- MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA preferred
