Role & responsibilities

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
• Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 4 6 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required; experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of lean manufacturing processes/procedures required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel and Power Point required.
• Skilled verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Familiar with IATF-16949 & ISO14001 & 1SO 45001 systems and procedures.
• A flair to work along with Young Diploma & BE holders.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Manufacturing process knowledge which includes VMC, CNC, & HMC, Robo, thread roiling,

- Result orientated. Should be able to independently manage and achieve shift production and quality requirements as per target.

- should be able to ensure discipline and safety in the shop floor.

- Willing to work in shifts.

- Knowledge with IATF16949 & ISO14001 & ISO 45001 systems and procedures.

- Resolve employee issues,



ensure positive employee relations, and promote and enforce all company policies fairly and consistently.

- Responsible for area performance measures and individual employee work performance; provide coaching and direction to employees; and work with the Manufacturing Manager to identify development and/or training needs for employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for all manufacturing activities in shift-production output, quality, safety, productivity, discipline etc.
• Analysis of in process rejection through CFT teams

- Responsible for carrying out continuous improvements in his shift.

- Responsible for keeping a tab on the pulse of his operating team- should be able to constantly communicate with them, guide them and motivate them for continuously higher performance.

- Will be required to take active part in implementing world class manufacturing concepts such as 5-S, TPM, TQM., TPS, Kaizen, etc in the shop floor.
