Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer with 8+ years of experience in software testing and test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Java or Python, along with Playwright and/or Selenium, and a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust UI and test automation frameworks.
- Develop automated test scripts using Java or Python with Playwright and/or Selenium.
- Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
- Analyze requirements, identify test scenarios, and develop comprehensive test cases.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects with explicit reproduction steps.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Review automation code and contribute to improving coding and testing standards.
- Identify opportunities to increase test coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
- Mentor junior QA/automation engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills





- 8+ years of experience in Software Testing / Test Automation.
- Strong programming experience in Java or Python.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong understanding of automation framework design and development.
- Experience with API testing and tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of SQL and database validation.
- Experience with Git and source-control practices.
- Experience integrating automation suites with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes or cloud-based testing environments.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with performance or security testing.
- Experience working with distributed systems and microservices.
- Familiarity with test reporting and observability tools.
