Role & responsibilities

- Dismantle and assemble CNC machine spindles as per technical specifications and procedures.
- Inspect spindle components such as bearings, shafts, housings, drawbars, spacers, seals, and motor components.
- Identify mechanical and electrical faults in CNC spindle assemblies.
- Perform spindle repair, rebuilding, bearing replacement, and component restoration.
- Measure and verify runout, dimensions, clearances, preload, and alignment using precision measuring instruments.
- Assist in spindle bearing installation, heating, mounting, and preload setting.
- Perform spindle motor inspection, testing, and basic troubleshooting.
- Conduct balancing and energetic testing of spindle components where required.
- Carry out spindle assembly according to defined quality and technical standards.




- Perform spindle testing and trial runs after repair to verify performance.
- Check parameters such as vibration, temperature, noise, runout, and RPM during final testing.
- Maintain proper service reports, inspection records, and repair documentation.
- Ensure proper handling, cleanliness, lubrication, and storage of precision spindle components.
- Follow all safety, quality, and workshop procedures.
- Coordinate with engineers and service teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of repaired spindles at customer sites when required.
