Role & responsibilities :

- Lead regional operations across hazardous waste treatment, ETP/STP, incineration, secured landfills, collection and transportation.
- Ensure plant uptime, capacity utilization, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Standardize SOPs and drive continuous improvement across facilities.
- Ensure compliance with Hazardous Waste Management Rules, Pollution Control Board requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Manage regulatory inspections, audits, compliance documentation, and corrective actions.
- Drive HSE standards, secure handling/transportation of hazardous and biomedical waste, and a zero-incident culture.
- Oversee fleet, logistics, route planning, GPS tracking, and transportation efficiency.
- Manage regional budgets and optimize manpower, fuel, maintenance, consumables, and operational costs.
- Monitor treatment efficiency, emissions, effluent parameters, maintenance,



and asset performance.
- Lead and develop regional teams while managing key internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors degree in Environmental / Chemical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering.
- Masters qualification in Environmental Management/Operations is preferred.
- 15–20 years of experience in hazardous waste, wastewater, environmental infrastructure, or related operations.
- Minimum 5 years in a regional/senior operational leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of waste treatment technologies, environmental regulations, and operational compliance.
- Experience with hazardous waste incinerators, secured landfills, wastewater recycling/ZLD, and Pollution Control Board inspections preferred.
