Conduct basketball coaching sessions for students across different age groups.
Responsibilities
- Train students in fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive techniques.
- Plan structured practice sessions based on students' skill levels.
- Develop teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and fitness among students.
- Identify and nurture students with potential for competitive basketball.
- Prepare students for inter-school competitions and sports events.
- Ensure proper warm-up, cool-down, and safety practices during training.
- Maintain discipline and ensure the safe use of sports equipment and facilities.
Requirements
- Certification/Diploma in Basketball Coaching or Sports/Physical Education preferred.
- Previous experience coaching school students is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and training methods.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students.
- Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
