1. To Implement Quality Control Systems and monitor the overall function of the diagnostics & Clinical Reference Lab as per NABL.

2. To Supervise all operations in the Lab activities Logistics, Home collections, Customer Support, Accession.

3. To Analyse and Verify Instrument Validation and Intra Assay Variations, Inter Assay Variations, Linearity, Reference Range and Inter Instrumental Correlation & Carryover studies.

4. To check daily instrument maintenance & trouble shooting of minor instrument problems.

5. To Review and Verify internal QC, LJ plots and External PT results. Investigation PT failures and taking appropriate corrective actions.

6. To Analyse routine and special investigations.

7. To Verify and Analyse QC and Calibrations, Calculate & Establish laboratory MEAN, S.D, C.V, BIAS, C.V.R and Plotting L J graphs.

8. To verify QC data using BIORAD Unity Desktop software & RANDOX 24-7.

9. To Analyse internal and external Quality Assurance (EQAS) specimen/ samples.

10. To prepare duty roster and monthly statistics.

11. To Face external, internal and customer audits conducted in the laboratory.

To Train & demonstrate to trainees on quality policies and documentation maintenance.

13. To indent material and maintain stock inventory and Consumption.

14. To maintain records of all reports as per QA guidelines. Monitoring of laboratory documentation, SOP preparation and review.

15. To take corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances under the guidance of section head.

16. To Co-ordinate preventive maintenance with service engineer.

17. To do Statistical assessment of Quality Control data in terms of coefficient of variations by applying L J and West Gard Rules.

18. To Release patient reports online and to report critical value and maintain the Turn Around Time (TAT).
