Mechanical Engineering Manager

Mission of the Role: Manage and drive some Mechanical engineers (15~20) to deliver mechanical designs for Visteon products, on-cost, on-time, on-quality.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

- Bachelor's /Masters degree in the Mechanical engineering field.
- 18+ years of relevant engineering experience preferably in regional or global workplace.
- Experience in Automotive or Electro-mechanical products domain Electronics product design, Thermal Management, EMC interface design
- Experience in Plastic, Sheet metal, Diecast, Sealing components design
- Solid experience in ensuring the design quality, verification, Validation methods.
- Expertise in 3D CAD, 2D drawings
- Strong experience in GD&T; application, Tolerance studies, DFMEA
- Exposure to Structural and Thermal Simulations
- Exposure to Validation testing, issue resolution and design improvements
- Experience in Problem solving, Critical thinking, Continuous Improvement
- Experience in Project planning, assignment, prioritization, Risk management, Monitoring of the progress and reporting
- Exposure to Global Culture/Customer is an added advantage.
- Experience in VAVE is added advantage.

- Make relevant reporting of his/her team to the management.

- Collaborate with the stakeholders throughout the execution of the programs
- Performance review, improvement planning and execution
- Problem solving and Systemic improvement in the process

- BOM compliance
- Engineering budget compliance

- Deliverables Say/Do ratio

- Team development roadmap based on competencies assessment
- Meet KPI as defined in the above section
