Responsibilities

- Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after chemotherapy.
- Administer chemotherapy and supportive medications as per prescribed protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and identify treatment-related reactions and complications.
- Respond promptly to chemotherapy-related emergencies and escalate when required.
- Maintain accurate nursing and medication documentation.
- Coordinate closely with oncologists, Duty Medical Officers, and the Nursing Head.
- Follow infection-control, medication-safety, and chemotherapy handling protocols.
- Educate patients and attendants about treatment, precautions, and warning signs.
- Ensure a safe, comfortable, and patient-centric treatment environment.
- Manage IV access and infusion pumps.





Requirements

- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing registration.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
- Prior experience in cancer care / oncology is required.
- Good clinical assessment and patient-monitoring skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- BLS certification preferred.
