Role Objective/Purpose
The Role of Program Facilitator: Facilitation is an integral part of Dream a Dream. It is believed that facilitation is a powerful and significant tool or a way to take everyone along, to make each being feel heard and seen. The role of a facilitator is centered around a facilitation approach to enable a thriving journey in by creating a protected space where community/young people can be resilient, responsible, and happy to reach their potential to reimagine a better future for themselves and society.
Responsibilities
- Outreach & Facilitation: Lead outreach efforts for the LifeSKills360 Program and facilitate life skills for diverse young people.
- Program Support: Assist with program activities and ensure smooth execution of organizational initiatives.
- Impact Data Collection: Gather and report on impact metrics and outcomes.
- Partnership Development: Build and manage partnerships with organizations, leading to collaboration opportunities.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with operations and finance teams to meet program needs.
- Co-facilitate experiential learning spaces for young people, teachers, facilitators, school leaders and stakeholders.
- Balance voice and presence between facilitators
- Create participatory, inclusive and reflective learning environments
- Be able to manage broken
- Be able to interrupt a speaker without put-
- Use arts, play, storytelling, movement and experiential
- Debrief conversations for
- Meet the learning needs of the (Creative edges Comfort zone, learning zone, danger zone).
- Support youth camps, workshops, training and learning
Design
- Contribute ideas and observations to strengthen workshop
- Support contextualisation of activities based on participant
- Assist in developing facilitation plans and learning
- Participate in debriefs, reviews and redesign
- Co-design a minimum of 8-day workshops using the Arc of
- Integrate the 3 P s (Practices, Processes and Principles) of Dream a Dream s approach in all workshop/session designs
- Document the plan, along with the context for which it was
Training
- Train facilitators / stakeholders on 6-levels of validation, using reinforcements to change behaviour and formulation. (Reference: Dream a Dream Mentoring Program),
- Train other facilitators / stakeholders on the Principles / Practices / Processes of facilitation with a minimum of 3-day TOT workshop.
- Train facilitators / stakeholders on the facilitation approach through conducting Dream a Dream youth camps.
Programme Implementation, Operation, Monitoring and Reporting
- Basic technical skills such as basic computer skills and
- Flexibility to travel is necessary. There will be opportunities to travel and facilitate according to the need of the program and place Locally, Interstate, Nationally and Internationally
- Proficient in platforms like Microsoft Office& Internets basic computer
- Strong spoken Communication and articulations skills Fluency in Kannada & English
- Strong experience in data & program documents managements
- Adaptable with work timings and ability to work with Virtual Platform
