Job Summary

Role: Field Application Engineer; Experience: 3-5 years; Preferred place of work: Chennai, India; Alternative locations: Hosur / Bengaluru

Responsibilities

- As a Field Application Engineer, you will provide technical support for our machine vision products and optical sensors in various automation industries, including automotive, robotics, pharma and electronics across India.
- As the technical backbone of the sales team, you will develop and present cutting-edge solutions using vision systems, AI-based inspection and robotics.
- You will conduct training and product presentations to increase our customers knowledge of our products and technology.

Desired skills and qualities

- A bachelors or masters degree in Electrical Engineering;or a related technical field, e.g.;Automation, Robotics,;Embedded Systems, etc.
- Several years of working experience related to machine vision, image processing and automation
- A structured, self-directed work style
- Proficiency in PLC and robotics programming is a plus




- A solution-oriented mindset;combined with excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel nationwide (approximately 60%)

Qualifications

- Qualification: technical degree (a Bachelors / Masters degree in Electrical Engineering)
- Work Experience in industrial automation (sensors smart cameras);3 years +
- Authorized to work in India
- Language skills: Fluent English, Tamil is a plus
- Place of residency: Chennai / Hosur / Bengaluru
- Willingness to travel; valid drivers licence
