Detailed Job Description: Database Engineer

- The client is seeking a Database Engineer to join their team in Bangalore, Gurgaon, or Chennai. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based database solutions using AWS and GCP, leveraging Terraform for infrastructure as code, and performing performance tuning to ensure optimal database performance.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain database solutions on AWS and GCP.
- Use Terraform to provision and manage database infrastructure.
- Perform database performance tuning and optimization.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database scalability and reliability.
- Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues.
- Document database architecture and processes.

Requirements

- Solid understanding of database concepts and relational database management systems.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with AWS and GCP database services (e.g., RDS, Cloud SQL, BigQuery).
- Ability to perform performance tuning and optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- No prior experience required.
