Head- Design & Development (Heat Exchangers)

Location: Lucknow

Department: Engineering

Reports to: Director

Experience: 1015 years in heat exchanger, including at least 5 years leading a team, preferably with exposure to Radiators, Cooling Systems and related automotive products.

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

We are looking for a Design & Development Manager to lead our engineering team. You will own the thermal and mechanical design of our products, ensure every design complies with applicable customer requirements, and drive new product development to improve performance and cost.

Key Responsibilities

Lead thermal design and rating of heat exchangers

Oversee mechanical design

Review and approve GA and fabrication drawings, design calculations, datasheets and BOMs before release.

Select materials suited to process conditions, corrosion and cost.

Drive recent product development, design standardization and value engineering.

Support the sales team with technical inputs for RFQs,



estimates and quote clarifications.

Coordinate with customers on drawing approvals and technical queries.

Work with production and QA/QC on manufacturability, deviations and testing requirements.

Lead, mentor and allocate work to design engineers and draughtsmen.

Manage design schedules to ensure on-time project deliverables.

Maintain design procedures and in line with ISO 9001.

Qualifications & Skills

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical (M.Tech preferred)

Hands-on experience with AutoCAD / SolidWorks

Proven experience leading a design team and handling customer technical discussions

Good communication and documentation skills

Preferred

Exposure to OEM handling, export projects and international clients

Familiarity with CFD
