- Review drawings, specifications, and scope of work for fire protection systems.
- Prepare accurate Quantity Take-Offs (QTO), BOQ & BOM.
- Estimate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Collect, compare, and evaluate supplier/vendor quotations.
- Negotiate with vendors to achieve competitive pricing.
- Prepare technical & commercial proposals and tender submissions.
- Conduct site surveys to understand project requirements and installation challenges.
- Perform value engineering to optimize project costs while maintaining safety and compliance.
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal teams during the estimation/tendering process.
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong knowledge of Fire Protection Systems, including Sprinkler, Hydrant, Foam, CO, FM-200, etc.
- Understanding of hydraulic calculations and fire protection system design.
- Positive knowledge of NFPA standards and applicable local fire/civil defense regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam & MS Office.
- Strong estimation, analytical, costing, and vendor coordination skills.
- Hands-on experience in tendering, bidding, and cost estimation for fire protection projects.
