1) Design Engineer – CSW

Job Description:

- Create 3D models and 2D drawings of turbocharger components, assemblies, and subassemblies in accordance with Garrett design standards and ASME.

- Ensure proper fit and function of all components and assemblies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional development engineers to achieve project goals.

Areas of Responsibility:

- Develop 3D models and 2D drawings for complete products, assemblies, and subassemblies per Garrett standards and ASME.

- Work with cross-functional teams to adapt customer requirements and lead product planning.

- Follow internal processes and contribute to their improvement.

- Drive activities such as design, FEA, CFD, APQP for turbocharger technology development, recent product launches, and customer programs.

- Design, simulate, and qualify components to meet validation requirements and customer needs.





- Participate in internal and external design reviews.

- Ensure designs meet safety, reliability, manufacturability, assembly, and cost requirements.

Education/Qualifications:

- BE in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.

Experience:

- 4–8 years in component design (2D & 3D), dimensioning, GD&T;, preferably in the automotive industry.

Key Skills:

- Advanced CAD skills (CATIA/CREO/ONSHAPE preferred).

- Knowledge of casting, machining, and assembly processes.

- Ability to perform stack-up analysis and basic structural simulations on ANSYS.

- Strong analytical skills and understanding of IC engines.

- Fluent in English (Intermediate – B2 level).

- Strong communication, multitasking ability, and positive mindset
