- Manage day-to-day stores operations, including material receipt, inspection coordination, storage, issue and dispatch.
- Handle GRN / material inward process and verify quantity against PO, invoice and delivery challan.
- Ensure proper identification, tagging, binning and systematic storage of raw materials, components and consumables.
- Maintain accurate stock records, inventory registers and ERP/system entries.
- Issue materials to Production, Assembly, Maintenance and other departments based on approved material requests.
- Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels, reorder levels and material shortages.
- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly stock verification and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Control and monitor raw materials, WIP components, finished goods, consumables, tools and engineering spares.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Production Planning teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Follow up on pending material receipts, shortages, excess quantities and rejected materials.
- Maintain proper segregation of OK, rejected, damaged, returned and excess materials.




- Coordinate with Quality and Purchase teams for rejected/non-conforming material replacement and return to vendors.
- Ensure FIFO / FEFO practices, wherever applicable, to minimize material deterioration and obsolescence.
- Supervise Stores Assistants/Executives and allocate daily activities to the team.
- Ensure proper 5S, housekeeping, safety and material handling practices within the stores area.
- Control material movement between different factory locations/departments and maintain proper documentation.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stores MIS reports covering stock, consumption, shortages and pending materials.
- Support physical inventory, audits and management stock verification.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving and excess inventory and coordinate appropriate action.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of sheet metal, aluminium profiles, lift components, electrical items, hardware and consumables.
- Coordinate with Production and Dispatch teams for finished goods movement and dispatch documentation.
