Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPBCS professional with strong AI/GenAI engineering capabilities to architect, build, and deliver AI-native Oracle solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for designing bespoke AI applications and agents on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) that are grounded in customer data and Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS) business processes.

The ideal candidate should be capable of taking AI solutions from Proof of Concept (PoC) through production, with solid focus on security, governance, reliability, evaluation, monitoring, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, configuration, and deployment of custom Oracle AI solutions.
- Build AI-powered solutions that augment Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS) processes and use cases.
- Leverage OCI Generative AI, OCI Data Science, Oracle data platforms, and AI services.
- Design and implement end-to-end RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and AI agent architectures.
- Implement data ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, re-ranking, and grounded generation.
- Ensure AI-generated responses are grounded in enterprise data and provide appropriate citations.
- Design evaluation frameworks and quality gates for AI solutions.
- Implement grounding checks, regression testing, evaluation harnesses, and red-team prompts.
- Integrate AI quality and validation processes into CI/CD pipelines before production deployment.
- Design secure-by-default solutions using OCI IAM, network isolation, secrets management, and audit logging.
- Establish production-ready architecture with appropriate governance and access controls.
- Monitor AI applications in production, including latency, errors, token consumption,



and operational performance.
- Define SLOs, monitoring mechanisms, incident response procedures, and optimization strategies.
- Implement LLMOps practices including prompt version control, model/evaluation management, monitoring, and FinOps.
- Collaborate with business, functional, data, cloud, and engineering teams to translate EPBCS requirements into AI solutions.
- Act as the technical point of contact and provide architectural guidance to project teams.

Professional & Technical Skills

Mandatory

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS).
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Planning and Budgeting processes and data.
- Experience designing, building, configuring, and supporting Oracle solutions.

AI / GenAI Skills

- Experience with OCI Generative AI and/or OCI Data Science.
- Understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Hands-on understanding of RAG architecture and AI agents.
- Knowledge of ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, re-ranking, and grounded generation.
- Experience with AI evaluation, quality gates, and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of LLMOps, prompt management, evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and cost controls.

Oracle / Cloud / Data Skills

- Oracle data integration and data governance.
- Knowledge of PII classification, access control, data lineage, and enterprise data security.
- Experience with OCI IAM, networking, secrets management, and audit logging.
- Understanding of secure and scalable cloud architecture.
- Experience integrating AI solutions with Oracle data and business processes.

Engineering & Production Skills

- Strong software engineering and solution architecture capabilities.
- Experience taking AI/GenAI solutions from PoC to production.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing.
- Production monitoring and incident management.
- Experience defining SLOs and operational metrics.
- Understanding of FinOps and AI token/cost optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
