1. Role Overview

Srinivasa Farms Private Limited is looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Compliance and Risk Management functions of the organization.

The CFO will be responsible for providing strong financial leadership to the business, ensuring financial discipline, optimizing cash flows and working capital, strengthening internal controls, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance, and supporting the leadership team in strategic business decisions.

The role will also involve direct engagement and representation of the organization before Government departments, tax authorities, regulatory bodies and enforcement agencies, wherever required.n

The ideal candidate should have solid experience in a professionally managed / large-scale organization, preferably with exposure to FMCG, Food, Poultry, Agriculture, Manufacturingor other multi-location businesses.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Strategic Financial Leadership

- Develop and execute the organization's overall financial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Act as a strategic financial advisor to the President, Management and Board.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations for business expansion, investments, acquisitions, capital allocation and cost optimization.
- Evaluate business performance, profitability and financial sustainability across business units.
- Establish strong financial governance, discipline and accountability across the organization.
- Identify financial risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.

B. Financial Planning & Analysis

- Lead the annual budgeting and business planning process.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts and long-range financial plans.
- Establish appropriate financial KPIs and MIS for management review.
- Provide monthly and periodic financial performance reports to the leadership team.
- Analyse revenue, margins, costs, profitability, working capital and business trends.
- Provide business-unit-wise and product/category-wise profitability analysis.
- Identify cost-saving and productivity improvement opportunities.

C. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

- Overall responsibility for cash flow planning and treasury management.
- Ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational and strategic requirements.
- Manage banking relationships and negotiate banking facilities, working capital limits and other financial arrangements.
- Optimize working capital, receivables, payables and inventory.
- Monitor utilization of bank limits and borrowing costs.
- Evaluate financing options and optimize the organization's cost of capital.
- Ensure effective management of surplus funds and investments within approved policies.

D. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Overall oversight of Direct and Indirect Taxation matters.
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS and other applicable tax laws.
- Monitor tax assessments, notices, audits, investigations and litigation.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of statutory records.
- Work closely with tax consultants, legal advisors and internal teams on complex tax matters.
- Develop strategies for tax planning while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws.
- Review significant tax exposures and provide appropriate recommendations to management.

E. Government & Regulatory Liaison

The CFO will serve as a senior representative of the organization in matters involving Government and regulatory authorities, including, but not limited to:

- Income Tax Department
- GST / Commercial Tax Authorities
- Customs authorities, wherever applicable
- Enforcement Directorate (ED)




- Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI)
- Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO)
- Registrar of Companies (ROC) / Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA)
- Regional / State regulatory authorities
- Labour and other statutory authorities, wherever matters have a financial or regulatory implication
- Other Government departments, investigation agencies and regulatory bodies relevant to the Company's operations.

Key responsibilities include:

- Represent the organization before Government and regulatory authorities when required.
- Coordinate responses to notices, summons, queries, investigations, assessments and regulatory communications.
- Lead the organization's financial and taxation response during Government audits, inspections, investigations and enquiries.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel, tax advisors, auditors and consultants in regulatory matters.
- Ensure timely submission of accurate information and documentation to Government authorities.
- Keep the President / Board appropriately informed of material regulatory, taxation and legal developments.
- Ensure that all interactions with Government authorities are conducted professionally, transparently and in accordance with applicable laws and Company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with relevant regulatory stakeholders without compromising compliance or governance standards.

F. Audit & Internal Controls

- Lead the statutory audit, internal audit and other financial audits.
- Strengthen financial controls, processes, systems and approval mechanisms.
- Ensure adequate controls over revenue, procurement, inventory, expenses, assets and payments.
- Identify and address control weaknesses and financial risks.
- Monitor internal audit observations and ensure timely closure of action points.
- Establish appropriate mechanisms to prevent fraud, financial misappropriation and revenue leakage.

G. Financial Governance & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with applicable Companies Act, accounting standards, tax laws and other financial regulations.
- Establish and maintain robust financial policies and SOPs.
- Ensure appropriate delegation of financial authority and approval controls.
- Review major contracts, commercial arrangements and financial commitments from a financial and risk perspective.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to management and the Board.

H. Business Finance & Commercial Support

- Partner with Business Heads to improve profitability and financial performance.
- Provide financial evaluation of new projects, products, customers, locations and investments.
- Review major commercial proposals, contracts and business arrangements.
- Support pricing decisions through cost and margin analysis.
- Monitor business-unit profitability and identify areas requiring corrective action.
- Provide financial inputs for strategic and operational decision-making.

I. Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts function across locations/business units.
- Build a high-performing finance organization with appropriate functional expertise.
- Define roles, responsibilities, KPIs and performance expectations for the finance team.
- Develop succession plans and strengthen the organization's finance talent pipeline.
- Promote a culture of financial discipline, accountability,



transparency and compliance.

- Successful implementation of finance process and technology improvements.

4. Qualification

- CA (Chartered Accountant) mandatory/preferred.
- CA with 15+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts.
- MBA / PG qualification in Finance will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, financial reporting, corporate finance and regulatory requirements.

5. Experience & Industry Exposure

- Proven experience in a CFO / Finance Director / VP Finance / Head of Finance or equivalent senior leadership role.
- Experience managing finance functions in a large, professionally managed and multi-location organization.
- Experience in FMCG, Food, Poultry, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Consumer Business or related sectors will be an added advantage.
- Strong exposure to taxation, treasury, banking, audits, financial controls and corporate governance.
- Experience in handling Government authorities, tax assessments, investigations, regulatory matters and statutory proceedings is highly desirable.
- Exposure to organizations with significant annual turnover and complex financial operations will be preferred.

8. Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a commercially oriented CFO who can balance business growth with financial discipline and regulatory compliance.

He/She should be capable of independently handling complex financial, taxation and regulatory matters and should have the maturity and confidence to represent Srinivasa Farms before senior Government officials, tax authorities, regulatory agencies and other external stakeholders when required.

The candidate should also be comfortable working closely with the President, Board of Directors and Business Heads and converting financial information into actionable business decisions.
