Job title: Head of Digital Marketing, Brand & Stakeholder
Location: Pune (Baner)
Market: Primarily US
Experience: 10 to 14 years in B2B and B2C digital marketing; 3+ years leading teams
Schedule: Monday - Friday (6.00 PM IST to 3.00 AM IST)
Sector focus:
Service-based businesses: healthcare services, financial services, lead generation, professional and business services, real estate, and other local or multi-location services
About Us
Kapital Krest Holdings (KKH) is a private equity platform. We buy and run cash-flow businesses, mostly in services. We grow them through better systems, shared services, and modern tools like AI and automation.
Our portfolio is not one company and not one industry. It includes healthcare services, financial-services and lead-generation businesses, back-office and professional services, and real estate. Each company has its own brand, customers, and sales motion. KKH supports them with a central shared-services team.
Role Overview
This leader builds and runs the central marketing function for the whole portfolio. You will own the KKH brand and act as the marketing engine for every company we own and every company we buy next.
You will set one playbook, one tool stack, and one reporting standard. Then you will apply it to each company in a way that fits its market. Some companies sell to US businesses. Some sell to local consumers. Some operate in regulated categories. You need to be able to switch between all of them.
This is a hands-on leadership role. Deep SEO and Google Analytics skill is required, not optional. You will be judged on leads, pipeline, revenue, and cost per acquisition for each company, not on activity.
Responsibilities
1. Portfolio Marketing Strategy & Operating Model
- Build a portfolio-wide marketing playbook: standard funnel, tech stack, naming, tracking, and reporting that every company uses.
- Run marketing as a shared service. Set clear service levels for each company and track hours and spend by company so each P&L; shows its true marketing cost.
- Build an annual and quarterly marketing plan for each company, tied to its revenue and EBITDA targets.
- Decide where to spend. Shift budget across companies and channels based on return, not habit.
- Find and roll out wins from one company to the rest. What works once should become a template.
2. Acquisitions, Integration & Exit Support
- Pre-close: Run a marketing and digital diligence review on targets. Check website health, SEO, traffic quality, reviews, ad accounts, CRM data, lead sources, and brand risk.
- Day 1 to Day 100: Lead the marketing part of each 100-day plan. Secure ownership of domains, ad accounts, analytics, social profiles, Google Business Profiles, and CRM. Fix tracking. Find quick wins.
- Ownership transitions: Plan and write customer, employee, vendor, and community messaging when a company changes hands, rebrands, or merges.
- Exit readiness: Keep clean, auditable marketing data (CAC, LTV, lead sources, conversion rates, channel mix) so each company can show buyers a repeatable growth engine.
3. SEO, Local SEO & AI Search Visibility (AEO / GEO)
- Own SEO across every portfolio website: technical SEO, site speed and Core Web Vitals, on-page, content, internal linking, schema, and link building.
- Lead local SEO for location-based businesses: Google Business Profile, local listings, citations, reviews, and local landing pages at scale.
- Rank for high-intent, service-buying keywords (for example "near me," "cost," "best," and "vs." searches).
- Build visibility in AI search and answer engines, including Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Copilot. Track how often our brands are cited and what is said about them.
- Use structured data,
entity optimization, FAQ and comparison content, and third-party mentions to raise the chance of being cited by AI tools.
- Use programmatic SEO for service and location pages where it fits, with strict quality control.
- Run SEO audits and site migrations safely during acquisitions and rebrands so no rankings are lost.
4. Analytics, Tracking & Attribution
- Own Google Analytics 4 for every company: property setup, event and conversion design, audiences, explorations, and data retention.
- Own Google Tag Manager, including server-side tagging, Consent Mode v2, and enhanced conversions.
- Connect GA4 to Google Ads, Search Console, the CRM, and call tracking. Import offline conversions so ads optimize toward real revenue, not form fills.
- Export GA4 data to BigQuery and build dashboards in Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar.
- Build one portfolio dashboard plus a page per company: leads, cost per lead, CAC, pipeline, revenue, conversion rate, organic growth, and AI-search visibility.
- Set up attribution that fits each business (multi-touch, call tracking, self-reported source). Use incrementality testing and basic marketing mix modeling where spend justifies it.
- Report monthly to company leaders and quarterly to KKH leadership in plain language: what happened, why, and what we will change.
5. Paid Media & Performance Marketing
- Manage paid search and paid social across Google Ads (including Performance Max and Local Services Ads), Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and retargeting.
- Own budgets by company. Optimize to cost per qualified lead, CAC, and return on ad spend.
- Run constant tests on audiences, offers, creative, and landing pages.
- Know the ad rules for regulated categories (healthcare, financial services, lending, and similar) and keep accounts in good standing.
6. AI Marketing, Automation & Martech
- Build an AI-first marketing team. Use AI for research, content drafts, creative, video, SEO briefs, ad variations, reporting, and lead follow-up.
- Build AI agents and automated workflows (for example with n8n, Make, or Zapier, plus ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) for repeat tasks such as lead routing, review replies, content repurposing, and weekly reports.
- Build prompt libraries, custom GPTs or assistants, and brand voice guides so each company gets on-brand output rapid.
- Use AI tools for lead enrichment and outbound research (for example Clay, Apollo, or similar).
- Own the shared martech stack: CRM and marketing automation (HubSpot, GoHighLevel, or similar), website platforms, call tracking, review management, and chat.
- Set rules for safe AI use: human review, fact checks, brand control, data privacy, and no sensitive customer data in public AI tools.
- Test new tools often. Keep what saves time or drives revenue. Cut the rest.
7. Website, Conversion & Customer Experience
- Own all portfolio websites and landing pages with developers and designers (WordPress, Webflow, Framer, or similar).
- Improve conversion rates with A/B testing, heatmaps, and session recordings (for example Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or VWO).
- Make it easy to buy: clear offers, fast pages, mobile-first design, click-to-call, online booking, and chat.
- Set up speed-to-lead processes with sales and operations so no lead waits.
8. Brand, Content & Social
- Own brand strategy and guidelines for KKH and each portfolio company. Keep each brand distinct but held to one quality standard.
- Build content engines for each company: blogs, guides, case studies, videos, email, and social posts that solve real customer problems.
- Lead short-form video (Reels, Shorts, TikTok where it fits) and use AI video and design tools (for example Canva, Adobe Firefly, Descript, or HeyGen) to produce more for less.
- Run social media across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
- Run reputation management: review generation, review responses, and online sentiment monitoring for every company.
9. Stakeholder & Executive Communications
- HoldCo brand: Own the KKH website, story, and positioning with sellers, brokers, co-investors, family offices, lenders, and partners.
- Deal sourcing support: Build materials and campaigns that help KKH attract business owners who want to sell.
- Leadership branding: Run LinkedIn and thought leadership programs for KKH principals and portfolio company leaders.
- Investor and board materials: Support portfolio updates, board decks, company profiles, and growth stories.
- Internal communications: Help leaders share news, wins, and changes with employees across companies.
- Crisis readiness: Keep a simple crisis communications plan for each company.
10. Compliance & Risk
- Make sure marketing follows the rules for each business, including TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CCPA and other state privacy laws, HIPAA for healthcare marketing, and financial advertising rules.
- Own consent, opt-in records, and data handling across forms, calls, texts, and email.
- Make sure KKH owns all marketing assets: domains, ad accounts, analytics, and social profiles. No agency or employee should hold them personally.
11. Team & Partner Leadership
- Build and lead a lean, AI-enabled team of in-house specialists, freelancers, and agencies.
- Set clear KPIs for every role and every agency. Review them monthly.
- Coach the team. Build a culture of ownership, speed, testing, and honest reporting.
- Work closely with portfolio company heads, sales, operations, finance, HR, and the KKH M&A; team.
Must-Have Skills

- Google Analytics 4 and Tag Manager (expert): Can build tracking from scratch, debug it, and explain the numbers to a non-marketer.

- Paid media: Hands-on with Google Ads and Meta at minimum.
- AI marketing: Uses AI tools daily and has built real workflows or agents, not just tried them.

- Multi-brand management: Can run several brands and P&Ls; at once without dropping quality.

Experience:
- 10-14 years in digital marketing, with at least 3 years leading a team.
- Has marketed service-based businesses to US customers, both B2B and local consumer.
- Has run marketing for several brands or clients at the same time. Agency, multi-location, franchise, or PE portfolio experience is a strong plus.
- Can show real SEO and analytics results with numbers.
- Has worked in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services.
Nice to Have
- Experience in private equity, family offices, or holding companies.
- Has supported an acquisition, rebrand, website migration, or company sale.
