Role & responsibilities

- Design, build and maintain REST APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot

- Own features end to end: design, development, testing, deployment and monitoring

- Write clean, well-tested code and take part in code reviews

- Work with product and business teams to turn client requirements into working features

- Integrate third-party APIs (payments, banking, KYC, etc.)

- Debug production issues and improve performance and reliability

Preferred candidate profile

- 3-4 years of backend experience in Java and Spring Boot

- Solid in Core Java, OOP, collections and multithreading

- Hands-on with Spring Data JPA/Hibernate and REST API design

- Experience with microservices and a message queue (Kafka or RabbitMQ)

- Good with MySQL/PostgreSQL; MongoDB or Redis is a plus

- Working knowledge of AWS, Git, CI/CD, JUnit/Mockito

- Fintech or lending exposure is a plus

- B.Tech/B.E. in CS/IT preferred

- Notice period up to 30 days preferred
