Role Overview

As a Google Cloud DevOps Engineer, youll play a pivotal role in implementing and automating resilient and secure DevOps practices on GCP. Youll support continuous integration/delivery pipelines, manage infrastructure as code, monitor application performance, and ensure production reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, or equivalent.

- Author and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager for provisioning and managing GCP resources.

- Implement, monitor, and troubleshoot Google Cloud services-Compute Engine, GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine), Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Functions, etc.

- Integrate logging, monitoring, and observability tools (e.g., Google Cloud Operations Suite, Stackdriver,



OpenTelemetry).

- Automate deployment strategies, manage configuration, and enforce compliance/security best practices.

- Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and maintain service uptime and performance.

- Collaborate across teams-Development, QA, Security, Operations-to integrate DevOps workflows and drive continuous improvement.
