Process Engineering Regular MED:

- Lead Process Engineering for Assembly, Fabrication/Welding and Paint Shop.
- Review drawings, specifications and GD&T; and convert product intent into robust manufacturing processes.
- Own process flow, operation sequence, work content, workstation concept, SOP/WI, PFMEA and Control Plan inputs.
- Lead cycle-time studies, capacity analysis, line balancing, manpower assessment and NVA elimination.
- Drive process standardization, ergonomics, safety, productivity and quality improvement.
- Lead structured problem solving for recurring manufacturing issues.

FTG Fixture / Tooling / Gauging:

- Lead FTG strategy for regular production and NPI from concept through validation.
- Review / approve fixture, tooling and gauge concepts, 2D/3D drawings, datum, locating, clamping, poka-yoke, accessibility and ergonomics.
- Coordinate in-house and supplier development, fabrication/machining, trials, corrections, validation and release.
- Establish FTG design, validation, maintenance and life-improvement standards.
- Ensure FTG readiness before NPI build gates and production implementation.

ECN Management:

- Own manufacturing-side ECN coordination across Assembly, Fabrication/Welding and Paint Shop.
- Review process, tooling, fixture, gauge, BOM, routing, cycle time, capacity, quality and cost impact of design changes.
- Coordinate R&D; / Design, Quality, Production, SCM, Purchase, Tool Room and ERP/document-control teams.
- Ensure approved changes are implemented in BOM, routing, work instructions, PFMEA, Control Plan,



drawings and shop-floor standards.
- Control implementation date, change point, old/current part segregation, deviation / rework risk and closure evidence.
- Maintain ECN tracker, aging, escalation and audit-ready records.

NPI Support:

- Lead MED support from concept / virtual build through prototype, pilot and SOP.
- Drive DFM/DFA and manufacturability reviews with R&D;, Quality and Production.
- Ensure process, FTG, manpower, capacity and documentation readiness at NPI gates.
- Lead pilot-build issue closure and manufacturing constraint removal.
- Protect On-Time NPI through early risk identification and CFT governance.

WCM / Continuous Improvement:

- Drive Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke, SMED, loss elimination, productivity and ergonomic improvements.
- Quantify cost, quality, delivery, safety and lead-time benefits.
- Standardize lessons learned across product families and manufacturing areas.
- Maintain DWM, KPI, engineering standards and action governance.

Leadership / CFT:

- Lead and coach Engineers / GET / DET resources.
- Prioritize regular MED and NPI activities based on business criticality.
- Maintain strong shop-floor presence, self-driven execution and timely escalation.
- Coordinate with R&D;, Production, Quality, SCM, Purchase, Maintenance, EHS, Tool Room and suppliers.
- Build technical capability and standard work within MED.
