JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager Electrical Maintenance will be responsible for executing preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring maximum plant uptime through effective troubleshooting, coordination, and adherence to safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment including motors, transformers, switchgear, and VFDs.

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults to minimize equipment downtime.
Monitor and maintain PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation panels.
Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) of electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with Production and Utility teams for maintenance planning and execution.
¢ Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and permit-to-work systems.
¢ Maintain equipment history, maintenance records, and MIS reports.
¢ Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
¢ Assist in managing critical spares and inventory for electrical systems.
REQUIRED SKILLS / CANDIDATE PROFILE
¢ Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive electrical maintenance practices.
¢ Understanding of motors, transformers, switchgear, VFDs, and distribution systems.
¢ Working knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation systems.
