Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with PHP, Laravel, MySQL, REST APIs, and web application development. The candidate will work closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver secure and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP.
- Develop backend applications and APIs using Laravel or similar PHP frameworks.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Develop business logic and reusable application components.
- Design and optimize database structures and SQL queries.
- Work with MySQL and relational databases.
- Debug and resolve application issues and production defects.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews.
- Use Git for source code management.
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Maintain technical documentation where required.

Required Skills

- Strong programming experience in PHP.
- Hands-on experience with Laravel or another contemporary PHP framework.




- Strong knowledge of MySQL and SQL.
- Experience developing REST APIs.
- Good understanding of MVC architecture.
- Strong knowledge of OOP concepts.
- HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Experience with Git/version control.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of web application security.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in:

- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Computer Engineering
- Software Engineering
- Or a related technical field.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 2–6 years of professional experience in PHP development.
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel.
- Good knowledge of MySQL and database design.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Understanding of complete web application development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Good communication skills.
