Purchase Executive

Purchase Executive with a Mechanical Engineering background to manage procurement activities.

The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in sourcing and negotiating for casting/forging and machined components, along with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for casting, forging and machined components.

Review and interpret engineering drawings to ensure technical accuracy in procurement.

Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and agreements.

Maintain vendor database and track supplier performance.

Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to align material requirements.

Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment as needed.

Prepare reports on purchase activities, cost analysis, and savings. Required Qualifications





Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.

2 to 4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.

Strong knowledge of casting, forging and machined components. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Solid negotiation and communication skills.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Preferred Attributes

Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or engineering industries.

Ability to manage multiple suppliers and contracts simultaneously

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
