We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. The candidate should possess basic knowledge of shop floor operations, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and quality fundamentals. The role involves supporting production activities, process improvement initiatives, equipment maintenance, and quality compliance.

Position Title: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and support day-to-day shop floor operations.
- Ensure adherence to production plans, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Assist in TPM activities including autonomous maintenance, preventive maintenance, and equipment efficiency monitoring.
- Support troubleshooting of mechanical and production-related issues.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams for smooth operations.




- Ensure implementation of 5S and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend corrective actions to improve productivity.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
- Maintain production, maintenance, and quality records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety norms, and quality standards.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of manufacturing and shop floor activities.
- Knowledge of TPM concepts and maintenance practices.
- Understanding of quality fundamentals, quality tools, and inspection processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Valuable communication and teamwork abilities.
