The Regional HR Director leads the human resources function across an assigned geographic region, translating global HR strategy into locally relevant programs.

This role partners with regional business leaders on workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness, while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and alignment with global HR policy.

The Regional HR Director is a trusted advisor to senior regional leadership and a key link to cross-functional departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the senior HR business partner to regional leadership, providing strategic counsel on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
- Lead and develop a team of HR Business Partners and Generalists supporting the region.
- Drive talent management processes across the region, including:
- Succession planning
- Performance management
- Leadership development
- Career pathing

- Own employee relations for the region, including complex investigations, performance issues, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure consistent and legally sound employee relations practices.
- Ensure regional compliance with local labor and employment laws, partnering with legal counsel as needed.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support regional hiring plans and workforce growth.
- Lead change management for regional restructuring and organizational shifts.
- Localize and roll out global HR programs, including:

- Compensation cycles
- Employee engagement surveys
- DEI initiatives
- Learning and development programs

- Analyze regional HR metrics, including turnover, engagement, and employee experience, and translate insights into actionable plans.




- Manage the regional HR budget and vendor relationships, including benefits brokers, outside counsel, and contractors.

Required Qualifications

Experience & Leadership

- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a regional, multi-site, or multi-country HR leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience advising senior leaders at the VP level or above on organizational and people strategy.
- Proven track record of leading and developing HR teams.
- Experience managing complex employee relations matters and investigations.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law across the relevant region(s).

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- HR certification is preferred.

HR Analytics & Business Partnership

- Data-driven approach to HR decision-making.
- Robust understanding of HR metrics and reporting.
- Ability to translate HR data and insights into meaningful business action plans.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a matrixed, multinational organization.
- Experience supporting organizational change resulting from:
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A;)
- Organizational restructuring
- Rapid business growth
