- Design and implement scalable backend services using Java 21 and Quarkus
- Develop microservices following Hexagonal Architecture (Ports & Adapters) principles
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs; test and validate using Postman
- Implement data persistence using PostgreSQL with Hibernate JPA and Panache
- Integrate caching strategies using Redis Cache to improve performance
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following contemporary design principles
- Develop and execute automated tests using Cucumber (BDD)
- Apply Microservices Design Patterns (Circuit Breaker, API Gateway, Service Discovery, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, frontend, QA)
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Java (preferably Java 17/21+)
- Hands-on with Quarkus framework
- Deep understanding of Hexagonal Architecture / Clean Architecture
- Experience with Hibernate JPA and Panache ORM
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Experience with Redis (caching, pub/sub optional)
- Experience designing microservices-based systems
- API testing using Postman
