Role Overview

We are expanding our Investment Banking IPO Origination team and are looking for an entrepreneurial

AVP Business Development who can build relationships with high growth companies and help bring

them to the public markets. The VP will lead a business development team responsible for identifying

IPO ready companies, engaging with promoters, and converting opportunities into IPO mandates for

execution by the firm's merchant banking team.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify companies with strong growth potential and IPO readiness.
- Initiate conversations with promoters regarding IPO opportunities.
- Conduct preliminary IPO feasibility discussions with potential clients.
- Develop relationships with promoters, chartered accountants, consultants, and industry advisors.
- Build and maintain a solid pipeline of companies planning capital market transactions.




- Lead and mentor a team of business development associates.
- Guide outreach strategies and track deal pipelines.
- Participate in promoter meetings, valuation discussions, and mandate negotiations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience: 6–12 years in investment banking, capital markets, corporate finance, or financial advisory.

Education: MBA / CA / CFA

Skills: Strong networking ability, understanding of financial statements and capital markets, leadership

capabilities, and a relationship driven mindset.
