Role & responsibilities
- Bring up recent prototype boards, write ATPs and test cases from schematics.
- Communication testing.
- Documentation & training SOPs, work instructions, test travellers and operator training; ESD and workmanship compliance.
- R&D; + production must have worked on prototype / new product boards AND in a manufacturing test environment not one only.
- Knowledge of protocols I2C, SPI, UART, RS232, RS485.
- Rework SMD and through-hole soldering and board-level rework.
- Documentation — test reports and test cases in MS Word / Excel; clear written English.
- Knowledge of testing Jig and Testing Process.
