Job Summary:

The IT Head will be responsible for overseeing the entire IT infrastructure, trading platforms, cybersecurity, system integrations, and regulatory technology compliance of the stock broking firm. The role ensures high system uptime, data security, and seamless trading operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Infrastructure & System Management

- Oversee trading platforms (OMS/RMS), back-office systems, and CRM software.
- Ensure high availability and uptime of trading terminals and servers.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, data centers, and network security.
- Ensure uninterrupted connectivity with exchanges (NSE, BSE, MCX, MSEI).

2. Trading Platform Management (Core Responsibility)

- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot trading platforms like ODIN, RupeeSeed, GREEK, Symphony, and other OMS/RMS systems.
- Coordinate with software vendors for upgrades, patches, and issue resolution.
- Monitor latency, execution efficiency, and system performance.
- Support API integrations and algo-trading connectivity.

2. Cybersecurity & Data Protection

- Implement cybersecurity policies and prevent data breaches.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI cybersecurity & IT framework guidelines.




- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and system audits.
- Manage firewall, antivirus, encryption, and access control systems.

3. Regulatory & Compliance Support

- Ensure systems comply with SEBI and exchange regulations.
- Maintain audit logs, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
- Support internal and external IT audits.

4. Vendor & Technology Management

- Liaise with trading software vendors and technology providers.
- Negotiate contracts and manage AMC/service agreements.
- Evaluate and implement new fintech tools.

5. Team Leadership & Strategy

- Lead IT support and development team.
- Develop IT strategy aligned with business growth plans.
- Prepare IT budgets and control costs.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors/Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in IT, preferably in stock broking, fintech, or banking.
- Robust knowledge of trading platforms (OMS/RMS), API integrations.
- Expertise in cybersecurity, cloud systems, and regulatory IT compliance.
- Strong leadership and vendor management skills.
