Technical Architect (Client-Facing Role)
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Client-Facing Technical Architect to join our team of
experts in delivering scalable, microservices-based enterprise solutions across a diverse
customer base—with a strong focus on regulated and complex environments such as banking
and financial services.
In this role, you will act as a technical leader, trusted advisor, and architecture expert. You
will work closely with C-level executive and technical stakeholders (including CIOs,
Infrastructure Heads, Security leads, and DevOps teams) to drive successful implementations
of our productized microservice solutions. You will leverage a deep understanding of
enterprise systems, infrastructure, DevOps, security, and application architecture to translate
complex customer requirements into robust architectural solutions aligned with their identity,
observability, integration, and deployment landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Governance
End-to-End Architecture Design: Lead solution architecture designs for client
implementations based on our core microservices platform. System Design & Resilience: Architect systems with a focus on scale, high
availability, resilience, and security, with the confidence to present and defend
architectural design decisions. Architecture Governance: Drive technical workshops, architectural governance, and
comprehensive solution reviews with client stakeholders. Blueprints & BoMs: Own architectural blueprints and the Bill of Materials (BoM),
tailoring deployment models to fit client infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, or
hybrid environments.
Modernization & Client Integration
Monolith-to-Microservices Migration: Leverage experience with legacy J2EE




monolithic architectures to define, architect, and execute clear migration paths to
contemporary microservices. System Integrations: Seamlessly integrate modern solutions with enterprise
customer systems, including IAM/SSO platforms, data infrastructure (PostgreSQL,
Oracle DB), and messaging systems (Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ). Observability & Security Setup: Align solution architecture with enterprise
observability stacks (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Dynatrace, Splunk) and banking-grade
security components. AI Adoption: Identify opportunities and drive strategies for adopting AI capabilities
within solution architectures.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

Client Engagement: Interface directly with client stakeholders across architecture,
security, DevOps, and business units to unpack requirements and constraints. Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with internal engineering and delivery
teams to ensure end-to-end execution remains robust and aligned with client
requirements. DevOps Guidance: Guide client teams through containerized deployments (Docker,
Kubernetes), CI/CD workflows, and DevSecOps best practices. Forward-Looking Advisory: Stay at the forefront of evolving enterprise tech stacks
to offer continuous, strategic guidance to both clients and internal product teams.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Experience:



12–15 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, and
technical delivery within customer-facing roles. Microservices & Frameworks: Deep hands-on and architectural proficiency in
microservices design patterns and Spring-based frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring
Cloud). Legacy Systems: Hands-on experience with J2EE Monolithic architectures and
proven execution of migration strategies. Databases & Messaging: Technical depth in relational databases (PostgreSQL,
Oracle DB) and asynchronous messaging systems (Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ). DevOps & Containers: Solid grasp of DevOps methodologies, containerization
(Docker, Kubernetes), and modern CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitOps). Identity & Security: Proven record of integrating architectures with enterprise IAM
systems (OAuth2, SAML, LDAP) and navigating strict security frameworks. Observability: Practical experience structuring solutions around enterprise
observability and monitoring suites (Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics, Splunk,
Dynatrace, ELK). Infrastructure Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of enterprise
infrastructure topology across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
Soft Skills & Working Conditions
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proven
experience creating and presenting architecture diagrams, BoMs, and technical
documentation. Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to manage, consult, and
influence senior business and technical leaders. Industry Focus: Prior experience delivering solutions within banking, financial
services, or other highly regulated industries is a major plus. Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
