About the team

Our team develops and maintains core technologies that support Walmart s technology ecosystem. We deliver scalable, secure solutions enhancing developer experiences across all touchpoints. This supports all software lifecycle stages, enabling teams to innovate and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with Walmart s technology goals. The team emphasizes collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement to drive impactful results. Members work with technologies including Java, Python, React Native, contributing to robust, productive, and reliable software products that meet evolving business needs and promote operational success.

What You ll Do

Own delivery of scoped features through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.

Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD.

Integrate AI/ML components and leverage generative AI tools to enhance software intelligence and development velocity.

Participate in solution design, conduct code reviews, and ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable software aligned with platform objectives.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and define success metrics.

Monitor application performance, support defect management, and promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

What You ll bring

Bachelors / Masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 10 years experience in software engineering or related area.



Extensive experience in full-stack software development with proficiency in React, Java, JavaScript, Python, and related frameworks. Full-stack development experience is preferred but not essential.

Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE development, software design patterns, solution architecture

Expertise in Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting.

Ability to analyze and translate business requirements into functional and non-functional technical solutions.

Skilled in debugging and performance troubleshooting

Commitment to coding standards, security policies, and quality assurance best practices.
