Responsibilities

- Provide L2 production support for databases and Data & Analytics platforms.
- Monitor and troubleshoot SQL Server, Azure SQL, MongoDB, and related database services.
- Support and manage SQL Server Always On AG and Windows Failover Clustering.
- Troubleshoot database performance, connectivity, availability, and configuration issues.
- Support HA/DR activities, including failover, recovery, and database availability.
- Assist with Azure Data & Analytics services and Microsoft Fabric environments.
- Perform root-cause analysis and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.
- Work with L3 teams and other technical teams to resolve complex database and infrastructure issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and incident records.

Requirements

- Experience in L2 production support for databases and Data & Analytics environments.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Data & Analytics and Azure SQL/Azure Data Services.




- Hands-on experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups (AG) and Windows Failover Clustering.
- Experience with MongoDB administration and troubleshooting.
- Positive understanding of Database HA/DR, backup, recovery, and high-availability concepts.
- Strong database troubleshooting and performance management skills.
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric (Data Fabric) and modern data services.
- Ability to analyze and resolve database incidents in a production environment.
