We are looking for a CAD Engineer with hands-on experience in starter motor design and development to join our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop 3D models and detailed 2D drawings using Siemens NX / Unigraphics NX
2. Prepare manufacturing drawings with GD&T; and tolerance stack-up analysis
3. Create and maintain BOMs and engineering documentation
4. Work on starter motor components such as Armature, Housing, Yoke, Brush Holder, Planetary Gear Assemblies and Solenoid Parts
5. Support prototype development, validation builds and drawing modifications based on test feedback
6. Follow engineering change management and product development processes
Required Skills & Experience
1. Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. 3+ years of experience in CAD design and detailing
3. Experience in Automotive Starter Motors, Alternators or Electromechanical Products preferred
4. Robust proficiency in Siemens NX / Unigraphics NX
5. Knowledge of PLM Windchill and CATIA
6. Good understanding of GD&T;, engineering drawings and tolerance stack-up
7. Knowledge of manufacturing processes including Sheet Metal, Machining, Die Casting and Assembly
8. Understanding of automotive product development and engineering change management
