Job Summary

Spark Techwave InnovationZ Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced AR Caller to handle accounts receivable follow-up for US healthcare clients.

The candidate will be responsible for contacting insurance companies and payers to follow up on outstanding claims, resolve claim denials and rejections, identify payment issues, and ensure timely reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform AR follow-up on outstanding and unpaid healthcare claims.
- Contact insurance companies through phone, payer portals, and other communication channels.
- Check claim status and determine the reason for pending, rejected, or denied claims.
- Follow up on underpaid, unpaid, and incorrectly processed claims.
- Identify and resolve claim denials and billing discrepancies.
- Review EOBs and ERAs to understand payment and denial information.
- Determine appropriate action for denied and rejected claims.
- Submit corrected claims or initiate appeals when required.
- Document all payer interactions, claim status, and follow-up activities accurately.
- Escalate complex claims and unresolved issues to the appropriate team.
- Maintain accurate AR records and follow-up notes.
- Meet assigned productivity, quality, and collection targets.
- Work with billing, coding, and other RCM teams to resolve claim-related issues.
- Follow up regularly on aging accounts until appropriate resolution.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy requirements.

Required Skills

- 15 years of experience in US Healthcare AR / AR Calling / RCM.
- Experience in calling insurance companies for claim follow-up.
- Good understanding of the US healthcare revenue cycle.
- Knowledge of:

- Accounts Receivable
- Claim Status
- Denial Management
- Claim Rejection
- EOB / ERA
- Insurance Payers
- Appeals




- Corrected Claims
- Aging Reports

- Basic understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Robust negotiation and follow-up skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable communicating with US insurance representatives.
- Ability to meet productivity and quality targets.

Good to Have

- Experience handling US healthcare RCM.
- Experience with Medicare and Medicaid.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance payers.
- Experience working on high-value or aged AR accounts.
- Knowledge of denial and adjustment codes.
- Experience with payer portals.
- Knowledge of medical billing and coding processes.
- Experience with healthcare RCM software.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Experience handling appeals and reconsiderations.

Education

- Any Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Healthcare/RCM certification is an advantage but not mandatory.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with hands-on experience in US Healthcare AR Calling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable speaking with US insurance companies.
- Good understanding of claims and reimbursement processes.
- Strong follow-up and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to analyze claim issues and determine appropriate next steps.
- Ability to work with productivity and quality metrics.
- Willingness to work in US healthcare shifts when required.
