Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, volume and profitability targets.
- Drive sales of electrical cables and related products across assigned territories/markets.
- Experience in Project Sales and other B2B sales.
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with dealers, distributors, electrical contractors, consultants, OEMs and institutional customers.
- Identify and develop new markets, customers and business opportunities.

Generate enquiries, prepare commercial proposals and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.

- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing and customer requirements.
- Work closely with the Production, Planning, Dispatch, Finance and Technical teams to ensure timely execution of customer orders.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and enquiry to order booking, dispatch and payment collection.
- Ensure effective credit control and timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, MIS reports and market intelligence reports for management.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing will be an advantage.
- 815 years of sales experience, preferably in the electrical cable/wire industry.
- Strong knowledge of LV/MV cables, electrical wires and related cable products.
- Proven experience in channel sales, institutional sales or project sales.
- Strong network among dealers, distributors, contractors, consultants, EPC companies and electrical industry customers.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
- Commercially astute with good understanding of pricing, margins and credit management.
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned markets.
- Strong analytical and MIS/reporting skills.
- Ability to work in a high-growth, target-driven and professionally managed listed organization.
