Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and well-connected Placement Officer to manage and drive placement opportunities for students enrolled in our Cybersecurity training programs.

The candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with IT companies, cybersecurity firms, startups, recruitment agencies, and corporate organizations to identify suitable full-time job opportunities for our trained students.

The Placement Officer will act as a bridge between Futurism Xpro, students, and hiring companies, with the primary objective of achieving successful student placements.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain relationships with IT companies, cybersecurity companies, startups, and recruitment agencies.
- Identify suitable full-time job openings for Cybersecurity students.
- Connect with HR teams, recruiters, and hiring managers to understand their hiring requirements.




- Develop new corporate relationships and placement partnerships.
- Understand company job requirements and match suitable students based on their skills, certifications, projects, and profiles.
- Coordinate with companies for student shortlisting and interview processes.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, recruitment drives, and placement activities.
- Regularly follow up with recruiters regarding student applications, interview results, and selection status.
- Maintain an updated database of companies, recruiters, job openings, student applications, interviews, and placements.
- Work closely with the training team to understand students' technical skills and job readiness.
- Communicate relevant job opportunities and interview details to eligible students.
- Collect recruiter feedback and share relevant inputs with the training team to improve student employability.
- Build long-term relationships with companies to create continuous placement opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports on company connections, job opportunities, interviews, selections, and successful placements.
- Support the organization in conducting placement drives, recruitment events, career sessions, and company interactions.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Marketing, Management, IT, or a related field.
- Experience in placement coordination, recruitment, corporate relations, business development, or HR will be preferred.
- Strong communication and networking skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with HR managers, recruiters, and hiring managers.
- Good understanding of the IT industry and Cybersecurity job market will be an advantage.
- Strong follow-up, coordination, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
- Ability to manage multiple companies, students, interviews, and placement activities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.

Preferred Knowledge of Cybersecurity Roles

The candidate should have a basic understanding of entry-level Cybersecurity roles such as:

- SOC Analyst
